A detachable protection flip (24) is placed in a folded-down position i.e. closed position, to cover the housing. The protection flip includes an opening (28) permitting access to a control unit (30) of the game controller. The flip includes an internal recess placed against one of control units (22, 23) when the game controller is inserted in the housing, where the units (22, 23) are formed by a directional cross support and a button.
