The assembly (2) has a floor (10) extended parallel to a plane. A central axis is extended into the plane of the floor and parallel to a vehicle displacement direction, when the floor is mounted on the vehicle. Oblong gas bottles (12, 14) supply liquid gas to an engine of the vehicle, and are extended along longitudinal axes (24, 26). The orthogonal projection of the longitudinal axis (24) on the plane forms a straight line. The straight line is inclined to an angle, ranging between 30 and 60 degrees, with respect to the central axis of the floor.
