The device has a terminal (110) i.e. computer, connected to a database (140) and for executing a payment application. The application executes connection of the device to the database using an identification process permitting unique identification, and displays on a display device (180) i.e. TV, information concerning prepaid payment order and an invoice allowing a user to settle the invoice. The application carries out calculation to have knowledge of used prepaid payment order number, displays a payment result to the user, and sends the updated information to the database.
