The head (11) has a rigid body, and a rotary assembly and another rotary assembly (12b) mounted on axles that are placed symmetrically with respect to a rotational axis of the head. One of the rotary assemblies has a rotary part serving as a bent castor that is rotated independently and in inverse direction of the rotary assembly. The rotary assembly carries tracks (Pb) that equalize tensions in continuous elongated components e.g. elementary filaments (F1, F2) such as filament yarns.
