The device has a flat part (1) presenting a profile (3) complement to a rudder blade cam, where the profile is in the shape of Greek letter epsilon. A handle (2) operates a lever arm to rotate the cam, and permits a user to exert rotational movement around an axis of the cam to replace the cam at top position. The flat part and handle are made of material compatible with aquatic and marine medium. The handle is provided with foam sheath. A fastening device formed of a cord and spring hook attaches the device to a catamaran.
