Sensory impression e.g. olfactive impression, analyzing method, involves storing descriptor associated to segment of active zone as impression characterizing descriptor, and entry time of cursor into inactive zone as impression end time
The method involves providing a digital machine e.g. computer, with a screen and a cursor displacement unit. A graphic interface with active and inactive zones (2, 3) is displayed on the screen. An impression generating signal is transmitted, and a cursor is initially placed in the inactive zone. The entry time of the cursor in the active zone is stored as an impression starting time. A descriptor associated to a segment (4) of the active zone is stored as a descriptor characterizing the impression. The entry time of the cursor in the inactive zone is stored as an impression end time. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising instruction codes for implementing a sensory impression analyzing method (2) a computer readable storage medium for storing a computer program for implementing the sensory impression analyzing method (3) a device for implementing the sensory impression analyzing method.
