The appliance (1) has a cooking table (3) assembled in a work top (4) arranged above a vessel washing and drying machine (2). The machine has a door (5) that closes an opening (6) arranged in a front face (7) of a washing tank (8) for loading and unloading a vessel. A ventilation channel (9) is arranged between a lower wall (10) of the table and an upper wall (11) of the machine. The channel has ventilation openings (12) formed in a lower wall (14) of the work top and in a front part of the apparatus. The openings (12) are situated at lateral ends of the work top.
