The device has a lever arm (2) whose end supports a maintaining unit (3) that maintains an object to be conveyed e.g. beater. Another end (22) of the arm has an ergonomic handle (4) for facilitating gripping of the arm. The arm is pivotably mounted on a wheel base (1) around a pivotment axle (20) formed between the ends. The maintaining unit has a shovel shaped tray (30) for forming a receiving surface that receives the object to be conveyed. The base is equipped with wheels (11) i.e. idler wheels, and a steel frame.
