The pipe (100) has a sealed, flexible and metallic inner tube covered by a braid (120) of metallic wires (121, 122) providing resistance to mechanical forces exerted on the inner tube. The braid is covered by an external sheath (140), and is provided with connections at two ends, where the sheath is made of transparent flexible plastic material. A winding is formed of a helical marking tape (130) to mark a defined nature i.e. color, and is applied around the braid and below the sheath. The metallic wires are made of stainless steel. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a flexible gas sealed pipe.
