The accessory e.g. hood (100), has a data transmission module (120), and a wireless audio communication module (118) e.g. Bluetoothcommunication module permitting remote communication of voice to different carriers of accessories by point-to-point radio link in open micro mode, without manual intervention and to a non-carrier third party of the accessory. A temperature sensor (106) measures body temperature of the carrier. An ear clip type optical sensor (104) measures physiological parameters e.g. heart rate, of the carrier. The communication module is provided with LEDs. The temperature sensor is an optical contactless thermometer i.e. MLX90614(RTM: infra red thermometer). The transmission module is selected from a Bluetoothtype transmission module or a General Packet Radio Serviceremote transmission module.
