The platform has a bearing structure receiving an annular floor. The structure has an annular driving crown wheel (9) provided with a horizontal lower flank (10) that forms a guiding strip cooperated with guide rollers (5, 6). The crown wheel is cooperated with a driving unit (14) provided with a chain (15) that is engaged with a motor pinion (16). The chain is rolled on a vertical flank (12) of the crown wheel. The vertical flank has a sequence of plane facets, and adopts a profile of a regular polygon. The chain is applied on the plane facets.
