The process comprises crushing the whole fruit in a crusher (1) to create a paste, conveying the ground material using a worm (2) in which the hot oil is injected to cause extraction and dilution, conveying the paste in a centrifugal separator (4) for separating the liquid (oil) and solids (cake) by a pump (3), deriving a fraction of oil towards the heater and then injecting it in the mixer, centrifuging the other fraction of oil present in the separator, and recovering solids, which is used as green manure, from the separator. An independent claim is included for a device for producing biodiesel and an ecological fertilizer from jatropha curcas.
