The device has a hollow piece (A) for receiving a conducting cable, and fixed to a frame by a fixation and positioning unit. The hollow piece is equipped with two horizontal wings that are bordered with vertical walls between which the cable is freely circulated. The wings present a concave arc shaped contour which cooperates with a rear part of a vertical post hinged to a sliding gate leaf (P). Another hollow piece (B) is fixed to a frame of the gate leaf by a bracket.
