The headlamp (1) has a case (9) closed by a transparent glass (11) and an elliptical optical module (2) placed in the case to deliver a light beam. The case includes a shield (10) with a passage and a rectangular or semi cylindrical shaped movable flaps (13) to partially obscure the opening of the flaps and a light beam of the optical module in a closing position. The module is moving in translation along an optical axis by an electromagnet, and is arranged such that the movement of the module mechanically leads to the opening of the flaps.
