The prosthesis (2) has a humeral prosthetic rod (3) engaged in a medullary cavity of humerus (4). A platform (6) is supported against a proximal end of the rod. The platform includes through holes at the passage of suture threads (13), where the holes are distributed on the periphery of the proximal end of the rod. An axis of one of the holes is extended perpendicular to a support plane of the platform on the proximal end of the rod. A strapping i.e. band (8) e.g. fabric band, is sewn with surgical needles and the suture threads and positioned around an unfractured zone of the humerus.
