The openings are connected with a tubular suction pipe, which extends on a center longitudinal axis of the device. A deflection device is arranged within the suction pipe, in order to limit disturbances associated with the front suction flow, rear suction flow or both suction flows in the suction pipe. The deflection device includes two flat sections that are inclined to each other. An independent claim is also included for a vacuum cleaner including a motor.
