The device has a vacuum brake amplifier (31) connected to a bulkhead of a body shell of a vehicle by a support (30), where the support surrounds a control body (12) receiving a control rod (16). The control rod is activated by a brake pedal. The control body aspirates the air in a cab interior of a vehicle. A sealing ring (32) is placed between the bulkhead and the support, where the ring comprises a central closed filtering part (34) and a passage for the control rod. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a braking device.
