The piece (1) has a body (2) with proximal and distal sections (3, 4) and extending along a longitudinal direction (I-I). A cartridge (5) is received in a bore (4a) of the distal section and fixed to a head (6) to drive a tool i.e. drill. Fixation units (10) fix the cartridge provided with the head in the bore, and are constituted by reversible detent units with a radially elastic ring (19) made of titanium. The units are entirely contained in the bore in an assembled position, and cooperate between an interior surface (400) of the bore and an exterior surface (500) of the cartridge.
