The method involves measuring ambient temperature of zones (1a, 1b) using thermostats (2a, 2b), respectively. Air is supplied to the zones via corresponding valves (5a, 5b), and temperature of the air is modulated by heat transfer fluid flowing upstream of the valves. Change in temperature of the fluid is controlled to determine a functioning mode chosen from heating mode, air-conditioning mode, standby mode and de-icing mode. Opening/closing of each valve is controlled by a control unit (10) based on the determined mode, desired temperature value and the measured ambient temperature. An independent claim is also included for a device for regulating ambient temperature of two zones.
