The frame has a foldable earpiece (50) connected to a tenon (30) by a connecting rod (40). An end of the rod is connected to the tenon by an articulation (A1) permitting rotational movement of the rod between an opening position and a folded position. Another end of the rod is connected to the earpiece by another articulation (A2) equipped with an over-opening mechanism (60). The latter articulation permits over-opening movement between the earpiece and the rod. The earpiece is rotationally integrated with the rod for driving the rod into the folded position.
