Captive aerodyne i.e. unmanned aerodyne, launching and receiving system for monitoring maritime area, has device measuring inclination angle of link to determine aerodyne position and modify position of engine to achieve determined position
The system has an angle measurement device (34) for measuring angle of inclination of a filiform link i.e. power supply cable (12), of a propulsion engine of a captive aerodyne (10), so as to determine a position of the aerodyne based on the inclination of the link and to modify the position of the engine to achieve the determined position. A tubular sleeve (77) slidingly receives the cable, where the sleeve is fixed to plates (66, 67) by a universal joint. Sensors (75, 76) measure angular positions of the sleeve with respect to the plates. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling and/or commanding a position of an aerodyne connected to a launching and receiving device by a deformable filiform link.
