The device has a fixation piece i.e. fixation tab (1), directly integrated with or welded on a frame of a mountain bike or fixed to a rear base such that an adjustable chain tensioner is fixed behind the base by an axle (2) of the tensioner to adjust tension of a chain of the bike. A spring (4) assures the tension of the chain between the axle and an offset tab (3). Rollers (5) are fixed on their axles by a sliding pivot connection such that the chain is aligned in an automatic manner, during operation.
