The device (1) has a support frame (2) fixed in a detachable manner on a support surface of an aquatic medium, and a pair of pedals (14) connected to a chassis by a connection unit i.e. screw (4). The connection unit and a part of the chassis are configured so as to position the pedals with respect to the chassis that is adjustable in a plane along an upper surface of the chassis along a longitudinal axis (XX'), where the axis is parallel to a movement direction of the pedals. The pedals have an extension (16) inclined along an angle with respect to the support surface. An independent claim is also included for a hydrotherapy installation comprising a therapy unit.
