The device has circular or rectangular transducers (1) made of ceramics with piezoelectric properties and placed in a linear or star way, where the transducers emit an ultrasound beam in a perpendicular direction to a surface constituted by a thoracic wall. A regulation system regulates total gain for reception of a signal transmitted by the transducers with a Doppler velocimeter (2). An earphone (4) is utilized for listening a Doppler signal. The Doppler velocimeter includes a screen (3) allowing direct reading of a Doppler curve to ensure monitoring by a non-medical personnel.
