The mortar (10) has a tube (11) for guiding a projectile, and a communicating unit for communicating a chamber (12) and the tube. A sensor (16) measures the pressure reign in the chamber. An adjusting valve (17) lowers the pressure at the interior of the chamber, where the valve is controlled based on pressure setpoint and measure carried out by the senor.
