The endoscope has a casing (51) movable axially and in rotation in a control handle (6) between correction and partial reflection deviating prisms (87, 83). Focusing and reticle rotation control devices axially displace the casing to adjust the focusing of an image without rotating the reticle, and for rotating the casing to rotate the reticle without axially displacing the casing, respectively. The focusing control device is formed of a control ring (11) and cylindrical rings (65, 68), and the rotation control device is formed of a control ring (10) rotatably coupled to a tubular piece (48).
