The device has a frame (1) provided with a seat (2) on which an intermediate segment (7) is articulated around a vertical axis (8) formed in front of the seat. A thorax rest handle (9) is articulated on the intermediate segment around a frontal axis (10) that is centered above the intermediate segment. The seat comprises lateral extensions that are provided with knee blocks (3), where the lateral extensions are terminated by foot-rests (4). The seat is articulated with the frame around a sagittal axis.
