The apparatus (1) has an electronic card supplied with power by a rechargeable battery. The electronic card has an acquisition unit for acquisition of pointing events and is connected to a mobile telephony unit for transmission of a message representing information relative to the pointing events. The electronic card and the battery are enclosed in a housing. The housing is sealed for preventing penetration of water, and has plastic molded semi-shells (3, 5) integrated together by an impregnable fixation unit. The semi-shells are formed in semi-transparent polycarbonate.
