The engine has a body forming a stator (1) defining a cylinder chamber (2). A rotor (3) has a cylindrical body (30) rotated around an axis inside the chamber. The chamber is provided with a wall (20) i.e. multi-lobed wall, where lobes form corresponding working cavities (4, 5, 6) with the body. The rotor has a set of blades (31) that are extended radially with respect to the axis, in direction of the wall. Working cavities heating units (7) permit the expansion of the gas e.g. air, admitted in the working cavities for turning the rotor. An independent claim is also included for a motorization assembly comprising an engine.
