Tyre baler and bales for reef construction

The invention relates to a baler for vehicle tyres wherein the tyre bales are used to form an artificial reef. The baler fits onto the forks of a standard fork truck or loading machine. The baler preferably accommodates 144 car tyres or when modified 250 tyres in one bale. The tyre bales are fixed using individual sections of stainless steel wires fitted through the centre of every tyre to hold the bale in shape. Bales can be shaped by adding or removing tyres from the bale before compressing and fixing.
