PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable polystyrene-based resin particle by which a polystyrene-based resin foamed molding which has high strength even in high expansion ratio is produced and a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: The bubble-containing expandable polystyrene-based resin particle contains a foaming agent and bubbles in a polystyrene-based resin particle. When the number of the bubbles present in the cross-section except 200 μm from the particle surface of a cross-section passing through the center of the bubble-containing expandable polystyrene-based resin particle is defined as n/mm2 and the bulk density is defined as ρ g/cm3, N value calculated by formula (1) N=n÷(1/ρ) is ≥400.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
