PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by preventing scattering of the top face section of a cap of a service valve even when an abnormal pressure occurs inside a refrigeration cycle.;SOLUTION: In this service valve for the air conditioner having a first connection port to which a refrigerant pipe at an outdoor unit side of the air conditioner is connected, a second connection port to which a refrigerant pipe at an indoor side of the air conditioner is connected, a valve spindle storage section for storing a valve shaft operated so that the first connection port and the second connection port are kept in a communicated or non-communicated state, and a first cap screwed on an outer peripheral face of the valve shaft storage section for sealing the valve shaft storage section when the valve shaft is not operated, the top face section of the first cap has a thin section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
