DRIVING SIMULATOR WITH AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT CONTROL FUNCTION, AND AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving simulator with an automatic movement control function for achieving automatic control of a simulated driving mobile body without creating a complicated control system, and to provide an automatic movement control method.;SOLUTION: The driving simulator 10 includes: a display section 12 displaying a virtual sight, a simulated driving mobile body moving in the virtual sight, and at least two other mobile bodies; a first automatic control section 14 automatically controlling each motion of the at least two other mobile bodies according to a prescribed movement logic; and a second automatic control section 16 performing follow-up control so that, while the simulated driving moving body is automatically controlled, the simulated driving moving body follows the movement of a target mobile body being one of the at least two other mobile bodies. The first automatic control section 14 is so constituted that each of other mobile bodies except the target mobile body moves in accordance with the prescribed logic without recognizing the target mobile body, and the display section 12 hides the target mobile body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
