PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control display of a visit notice according to a busy state of an officer terminal.SOLUTION: A customer visit notification system 10 includes an officer terminal 220, a customer transaction terminal 210 and a visit notification server 100. A customer visit notification method includes: receiving customer information including customer's importance level and a transaction status including information on the customer transaction terminal 210 used by the customer as visit notice data; reading visit notification conditions including a visit notification flag which indicates whether to need to display a visit notice in accordance with the customer's importance level and waiting time determined according to the customer transaction terminal 210 and the customer's importance level; determining whether to need to display the visit notice on the basis of the customer's importance level and the visit notification flag; repeating determination whether the officer terminal is busy or not until the lapse of the visit notification waiting time when the visit notice does not necessarily need to be displayed; and displaying the visit notice when the visit notice needs to be displayed or when the officer terminal is not busy.
