PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring blood glucose which can give medical professions not only information on blood glucose level but also event information such as detailed menu affecting blood glucose information.SOLUTION: In the apparatus for measuring blood glucose 10 having a blood glucose information obtaining part 16, a display 12, a timer 14, an input part 13, an event information storing part, a blood glucose information processing part with time information 22 which recognizes the blood glucose information as a blood glucose information with time information relating to the time information of the blood information when the blood glucose information obtaining part obtains it, and an event information processing part 20 which recognizes the identified event as the event information with time information relating it to the time information of the identified event information, when any of event information is identified in the input part, the event information includes a plurality of kinds of menu information and insulin administration information and these information are displayed on the display for user to select any of a plurality of these kinds of menu information and insulin information.
