PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phased array ultrasonic flaw detection system for reducing the number of focuses, and a data processing time.;SOLUTION: A phased array ultrasonic flaw detection method using a sensor comprising a plurality of juxtaposed ultrasonic elements has: the shape measuring step of transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to/from a to-be inspected object by using the sensor, and for detecting a shape of the to-be-inspected object; the ultrasonic flaw detection area determining step of determining an ultrasonic flaw detection area from information on the vulnerability of the to-be inspected object and information on the shape by the shape measuring step; and the ultrasonic flaw detecting step of implementing a phased array ultrasonic flaw detection in the ultrasonic flaw detection area within the to-be-inspected object defined by the ultrasonic flaw detection area determining step by using the sensor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
