PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for activities of microorganisms, capable of being carried out readily in a short time, and for finding how much of the proportion of the microorganisms having the high activities is present in the total of the microorganisms in a sample.;SOLUTION: The evaluation method for the activities of the microorganisms evaluates the activities of the microorganisms in the sample from the microorganism activities obtained by measuring the amount of proteins and the amount of adenosine triphosphate contained in the sample, and calculating the microorganism activities by dividing the amount of the adenosine triphosphate by the amount of the proteins.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
