PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high Cr-high Ni alloy pipe which does not cause deterioration of 20°C Charpy impact resistance during the manufacture and has preferable toughness, and to provide the high Cr-high Ni alloy tube having preferable toughness.;SOLUTION: The method (1) for manufacturing the high Cr-high Ni alloy pipe which contains 44 to 52% Ni, 22 to 32% Cr and the remainder being Fe and impurities, in which the content of C, Si, Mn, Ti, Nb, Al, B and W, and the arbitrary addition amount of Nb and Zr are prescribed includes a process of performing soaking processing for heating a raw pipe of the high Cr-high Ni alloy tube to 1,180°C or more in the heat-treatment after cold-working and, thereafter, cooling the pipe under conditions satisfying the relation (I) of ΔT×Δt/2≤100 (I), wherein, in the relation (I), ΔT is a temperature difference (°C) between the soaking temperature and quench-initiation temperature after the soaking and Δt is a time (min) until the quench initiation after the soaking. The high Cr-high Ni alloy (2) having the chemical composition described above and having a Cr deposition amount of 0.3% or less is also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
