PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit a suitable scene, without setting a start point and an end point of the scene to be edited one by one.;SOLUTION: A video indexing unit 12 previously detects a point type annotation and a section type annotation about video to be edited, and divides the video into pre-segments based on the detected result. A video information presentation unit 14 presents the video, pre-segments, and annotations, and a user annotation reception unit 15 provides an interface through which a user imparts annotations of a comment etc. When a video editing processing unit 16 determines a video section to be employed for edited video, the video editing processing unit 16 applies a predetermined video section setting rule to pre-segments and annotations, which the user specifies, to automatically determine a start point and an end point of the video section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
