PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a harmonic component, and at the same time, attenuates a fundamental wave component when transceiving the harmonic wave using a multilayer piezoelectric body.;SOLUTION: When transmitting/receiving a third harmonic wave using a three-layer piezoelectric body, the three layers are not laminated arranging a polarization direction of the three layers in order, a direction of a part is made an inverse direction. As a concrete target, electrodes of both ends are connected to terminals, and respective piezoelectric bodies are connected in series. When making a direction of residual polarity of the piezoelectric body 1 (+P) as a reference, if the piezoelectric body 2 and the piezoelectric body 3 are of the inverse direction (-P), sensitivity is negated for λ/4 resonance, and enhanced for 3λ/4 resonance in an electric field between terminals. In the way, it is possible to suppress the fundamental wave, and extract the third harmonic wave without using a filter or an amplifier.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
