METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF CURVATURE AND CURVE RADIUS IN RAILROAD TRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measurement of curvature and curve radius in a railroad track for expanding a measurement range up to a low-speed area.;SOLUTION: In the curvature and curve radius measurement method of the railroad track, an angle meter is set in a track inspection car. A relative angle of a tangent line between two points on the railroad track is determined, based on information measured by the angle meter. A cyclometer is set to the track inspection car. A distance between two points on the railroad track is obtained based on information measured by the cyclometer. The relative angle between two points on the railroad track and the distance between two points on the railroad track are substituted in a predetermined calculation expression so as to determine calculation results.
