PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot blast stove control and computing device capable of flexibly controlling an operation of a hot blast stove to continue the operation by suppressing a decrease in thermal efficiency as much as possible in the hot blast stove, even when there is a need to suddenly reduce a heating value of hot blast from the first schedule, the hot blast being supplied from the hot blast stove in a staggered parallel operation to a blast furnace.;SOLUTION: A hot blast stove control and computing device 301 includes: means 503a, b, c, d for computing a necessary charged heating value; a means for computing a present charged heating value; a means for computing a present blast heating value; a means for computing a present thermal efficiency value; a means for setting a reference value; a means for determining air reduction and temperature reduction; a means for determining deterioration in thermal efficiency; and a means 505 for computing a correction coefficient of a charged heating value. A charged heating value to the hot blast stove is computed by multiplying the necessary charged heating value computed by the means 503a, b, c, d for computing a necessary charged heating value by the correction coefficient of a charged heating value, the correction coefficient being computed by the means 505 for computing a correction coefficient of a charged heating value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
