PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a covering material from being peeled off out of a bamboo surface or being burnt out during smoking of the covering material at high temperature when the covering material is provided at a part of a bamboo material surface in order to intentionally make an unsmoked part when smoking.;SOLUTION: A seal-shaped Japanese paper is used as the covering material to be stuck to the bamboo material surface before smoking. An adhesive is applied onto one surface of the Japanese paper into a seal type, the Japanese paper is shaped to a character or a design and is attached to the bamboo material surface before smoking, and then smoking is carried out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
