PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle structure of a pair of high branch-pruning shears, adopting an especially simple structure, turnable to a support cylinder, and usable for a long period. PSOLUTION: This handle structure of the high branch-pruning shears includes a pair of the shears on one end of a support cylinder, a handle on the other end, and a rod installed in the inside of the support cylinder and connecting the shears and the handle, and makes the handle turnable to the central axis of the support cylinder. The handle structure of the high branch-pruning shears is such that a peripheral groove is formed on the peripheral surface of a top covering body installed on the handle, a sleeve having an engagement part with elasticity in the diameter direction, projecting from a cylindrical base part is inserted into the top covering body to engage the engagement part with the peripheral groove, and the support cylinder is inserted into the sleeve to fasten a support member installed in the support cylinder to the sleeve by an engagement member.
