PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethanol-blended gasoline capable of suppressing the phase separation to a gasoline phase and an aqueous phase by controlling the properties of a gasoline without using a compatibilizer, and capable of securing appropriate driving properties of a gasoline-driven car even when the phases are separated.;SOLUTION: This production method for an ethanol-blended gasoline is for an ethanol-blended gasoline characterized by having, by volume, an ethanol content of ≥1% to ≤15%, an aromatic content of ≥15% to ≤45%, an olefin content of ≥13% to ≤30%, a water content of ≥0.01% to ≤0.9%, a temperature at 50 vol.% distillation of 93 to 110°C, a sulfur content of 10 ppm or less, a research octane number of ≥97 to ≤105, a clouding point of 0°C or less, and a phase separation index T represented by formula (I): T=1.6×10³×(Wa)^0.33×(Et)^-0.46×(Ar)^-0.07×(Ol)^-0.07 [wherein Wa, Et, Ar and Ol are the contents (vol.%) of water, Et, Ar and Ol, respectively based on the total amount (volume) of the ethanol-blended gasoline] of 273 or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
