PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for promoting health or soundness of a grown animal including senior, old aged, and obese animals, and animals being suspectable to or suffering from renal failure or renal dysfunction; a method for regulating a food intake of a grown animal; and a method for increasing nitrogen retention in a grown animal.;SOLUTION: A kit mainly includes an instruction of a method for promoting health or soundness of a grown animal to increase nitrogen retention by giving foods containing lysine of at least approximately 3 wt.% based on entire protein.
