PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of polar map for motor function of a certain internal organ.;SOLUTION: The medical image processing apparatus comprises a storage part 45 for a first image data for a range including a certain internal organ of a tested patient obtained by SPECT scanner 7 and a second image data obtained by the CT scanner 9, a function index calculator 25 to calculate function index for motor function of a certain internal organ based on the first image data, a polar map generator 27 to generate a polar map of the function index, a polar model generator 31 to generate a polar model showing a form of surrounding organ of the certain internal organ, a range extractor 29 to extract a range for the surrounding organ from the second image data, a disease index calculator 33 to calculate a disease index showing the seriousness of illness of the surrounding organ based on the range, a marker generator 35 to generate a disease index marker indicated by the polar coordinate system based on the range, and a synthesizing part 37 to synthesize the polar model and the disease index marker on the polar map.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
