PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-column type coke oven gas desulfurizer which inhibits the mixing of nitrogen into a purified coke oven gas and can obtain a purified coke oven gas having a high calorific value.;SOLUTION: The desulfurizer includes an absorption section 10 for bringing an alkaline absorption solution 1 into contact with a coarse coke oven gas to absorb hydrogen sulfide in the coarse coke oven gas into the absorption solution 1 to form a sulfur-containing absorption solution 3; and a regeneration section 20 for oxidizing the sulfur-containing absorption solution 3 with air to form sulfur and regenerating the absorption solution 1 and the regeneration section 20 is integrally formed below the absorption section 10. Further, the desulfurizer has partition walls 11 for blocking the air flow between the absorption section 10 and the regeneration section 20; solution supply pipes 13 for supplying the sulfur-containing absorption solution 3 to the regeneration section 20 from the absorption section 10; an exhaust pipe 27 for discharging the air used in the oxidation of the sulfur-containing absorption solution 3 from the regeneration section 20 to the outside; and a seal of the water-sealed type for preventing the mixing of the air used in the oxidation of the sulfur-containing absorption solution 3 into the absorption section 10 from the regeneration section 20 is formed at the lateral end 13a of the solution supply pipes 13 in the regeneration section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
