PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation method for easily acquiring mesenchymal stem cells from dental pulp and a method for differentiating separated cells into a hepatocyte lineage.;SOLUTION: Dental pulp-derived mesenchymal stem cells are separated from dental pulp of baby tooth or the last molar tooth by using an CD117 (c-kit) or CD44 antibody. The dental pulp-derived mesenchymal stem cells are cultured in a medium containing HGF, dexamethasone, oncostatin and ITS-X and differentiated to hepatocyte lineage cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
