PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a book with a recess, which is used for various purposes, formed in the main text body of the book, and a book equipped with an electric circuit including the book with a recess manufactured by the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: Regarding the method of manufacturing the book with a recess, the recess opening in an area covered by the cover is formed in the main text body. The method of manufacturing the book with a recess includes steps of: folding a plurality of unbound printed sheets into signatures (50); gathering the signatures (50) into the aggregation body (52) of the signatures (50); joining together the signatures (50) included in the aggregation body (52); attaching the cover to the aggregation body (52) at the same time when the signatures (50) are joined or thereafter; prior to the cover attaching step, removing a part corresponding to the recess from the unbound printed sheets, the signatures (50) or the aggregation body (52).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
